What I believe is important about family portraits is they should represent where you are at that moment. You want to capture this time in your lives to enjoy again and again.

The relationship between mom and dad is key. So we chat. I watch you interact to pick up your family’s personality. My goal is to convey your family’s dynamic using our environment and props if desired. I always make time to shoot photos of just the couple.

Be comfortable. I recommend you coordinate your color palette; pick two neutral colors and one pop of color as an accent color, for instance, gray and white plus pink (use the accent in a tie, bow, shoes, etc.). Just don’t all match.
